220. DO SWEET VICTORIES COME FROM THE HARDEST BATTLES?

Imagine working so hard to train yourself through school to study the course of your choice, and after so much struggle, late-night readings, bulky coursework, and strenuous examinations, you emerged as the best graduating student of the university.

The slate of life has in it written, “No pain, no gain.” The journey to success lies through various hurdles and thorns, to reach peak potential. No great man made it to the top by merely talking about the top; actions were made, battles fought, and victories won. As an undergraduate with beautiful plans and amazing goals on how to be the best and get to the top, it is good that you make extra plans, and build a thick skin for these hard battles, because they will surely come. Hard work is an essential tool to get to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Moreover, to every star there is a scar, and to every scar there is a story; a story of survival and conquest. These hard battles teach you valuable lessons and help you develop your inner strength, which will not just be handy in your academics, but in general life dealings. Victory that comes as a result of commitment, perseverance, and doggedness is a multi-layered gem.

Empowerment and Inspiration

When we face obstacles, whether big or small, they shape our experience and often in-still a deep appreciation of our achievement. Do not be discouraged; keep pushing. The hardest battles come to the toughest people, and victory is assured at the end, by God’s grace.
